This was an amazing commission working with the costume department for ‘The Electrical Life of Louis Wain’, a film based on an English artist in the 19th century who painted surreal cat paintings, staring Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy. We took inspiration from a collection of reference images that helped us design the pattern on the x5 calico boiler suits and shoes worn by the cast in the film. We then created the colour pallets from the material colour swatches that were sent to us. This was such a great project to be a part of, we only had a few days to turn this around as a team. These costumes look so cool on the actors during their performances and surreal sequences in the film.

A collaborative project working with Artists; Nicole Line, Armi Maddison & Rosy Hazelwood
