This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced printers. Printers will draw and create hand cut paper stencils for screen printing onto textile surfaces. In this workshop you will print onto a range of heavy and light weight materials, layering colours and designs. In this hands on and practical workshop, you will explore how to prepare your space for printing, mix your own print pasts using water-based inks and binders, puff, pearl and manutex. By the end of the workshop, you will have a collection of A5-A3 samples for your portfolios, sketchbooks and mood-boards. These workshops will help build confidence in drawing, printing and encourage mixed media creativity within design. You will learn a greater understanding of the process, equipment and materials needed to independently print at home.
