In the experimental drawing workshop we will focus on making drawing tools, mark-making, scribbling, repeat pattern, collage, projection, illustration, shape, print, text, performance and installation. The aim of the experimental drawing workshops are for you to get out of your comfort zone, have an creative engagement, to play and to explore alternative drawing techniques. The studio space will be transformed into an environment for everyone to mark-make and create abstract art works for your sketchbooks and portfolios. The drawing materials are an extension of your body, be spontaneous and just draw with an element of surprise. Be inventive with the materials and tools available to you. Explore different materials and work within a mixed-media practice to create a diverse body of work through illustration, print, installation and performance.
